Who is behind the site

The site is written by Lawrence Goh, Director of Autonex Pte Ltd, a Singapore company that designs AI and workflow automation for small and mid-sized businesses. It is published by Autonex Pte Ltd.

Before founding Autonex, Lawrence spent his career in aviation as an airline captain — 46 years in aviation, 33 of them in command — most recently flying the Airbus A380. Airline operations run on checklists, standard procedures and disciplined decision-making under uncertainty. The same habits shape this site: define the task precisely, measure before you change it, account for every cost, and treat optimistic assumptions with suspicion.

What we believe

• Count the costs. A business case that lists only savings is a sales pitch.
• Measure, don't assume. Pilot data beats any benchmark, including ours.
• Use evidence. Our defaults and guides cite independent research, including studies whose findings are inconvenient for AI enthusiasts.
• Be transparent. Every formula the calculator uses is on the methodology page.
